About Me
Welcome! I’m Emma, a psychotherapist and registered nurse dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions.
My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, stress management, relationship difficulties, ADHD and OCD.
I work collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Whether you're seeking support for a specific issue or simply want to explore deeper questions about yourself, I'm here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for reflection and growth.
I hold a Master's in Counselling from University of Toronto, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles of psychotherapy and mental health. My education includes extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
In addition to my formal education, I have completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and Breathwork workshops. I am continuously engaged in ongoing professional development, ensuring that my work remains informed by the latest research and best practices in the field.
I am registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and I adhere to a strong ethical framework to ensure the highest standards of care for my clients.
My goal is to create a safe, effective, and compassionate therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
